Buttermilk Pecan WafflesBread
2 cups all-purpose flour Combine dry ingredients. Beat egg yolks until light and lemon colored. Beat buttermilk into egg yolks; add melted butter or margine. Combine liquid and dry ingredients; do not overstir. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites; fold in pecans. bake in waffle iron according to manufacturer's instructions. YIELD: About 10 (5") waffles. Leftover waffles can be frozen and re-heated in toaster.
