Cakes

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal live. John 3:16 (NIV)

1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
5 large eggs
3/4 teaspoon almond extract
1 teaspoon vanilla

Beat together butter and sugar. Mix in flour and salt. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Add extracts. Bake at 300 degrees in a greased tube pan for 1-1 1/4 hours.
