Coconut Pecan FrostingDesserts
2/3 cup sugar In a saucepan combine sugar, evaporated milk, egg yolks, and Crisco®. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil (takes abour 12 minutes). Remove from heat. Add coconut, vanilla, and pecans. Beat until frosting is thick. Cool 15 minutes. For best results spread only the tops of layers. Frosts the tops of two 8- or 9-inch layers or a 13x9-cake.
