1/3 cup Crisco® All-Vegetable Shortening
2 tablespoons corn syrup
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar (sift if lumpy)
1 tablespoon grated orange peel
1/4 cup orange juice

Mix Crisco®, corn syrup, salt, about 1 cup sugar, and the orange peel. Add orange juice and rest of sugar alternately; mix until smooth and creamy. Add more sugar to thicken or juice to thin frosting if needed for good spreading consistency.

Frosts two 8- or 9-inch layers or a 13x9-cake.
