Peach Ice CreamDesserts
3 cups fresh peach pulp or 3 cups (three 16-ounce jars) frozen peach slices pureed, with syrup Puree peaches to make pulp. (If using frozen peaches, puree and add enough syrup to make 3 cups pulp.) Blend peaches, water, CARNATION, sugar, lemon juice, salt, and vanilla. Pour into 1 gallon freezer. Cover. Freeze with ice-salt mixture in proportions recommended for freezer. When Ice Cream is frozen, pour off brine. Remove dasher and pack with ice and salt. Allow to stand 1 1/2 to 2 hours to ripen. Makes 1 gallon Variation:
