Pie & Pastry

9-inch unbaked pie shell
1/2 cup butter
2 cups sugar
3 rounded tablespoons flour
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup Borden® Buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Dash of nutmeg (optional)

Have butter soft; add sugar; cream together well. Add flour and eggs; beat well. Stir in buttermilk, vanilla, and nutmeg. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes at 350°F. Place on wire rack to cool completely before serving.
