Crispy Crumb Fried ChickenPoultry
2/3 cup finely crushed herb-seasoned stuffing mix Combine stuffing mix, salt, pepper, and paprika on waxed paper. Moisten chicken with water. Coat with crumbs. Heat Crisco® to 365°F. in electric skillet or on medium-high heat in large heavy skillet. Fry chicken. Turn once for even browning. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cook chicken for 30 minutes or until tender. Turn once for even browning. Drain on paper towls. 4 Servings TIP: Always add chicken skin side down, for a crisper, browner chicken. When the first side is brown, turn and brown second. Try to avoid turning more than once.
