Old Fashioned Beef StewSoup & Stew
1 1/2 pounds beef cubes In large heavy pan, brown meat in shortening; pour off fat. Add soups, water, and seasonings. Cover; simmer 1 1/2 hours. Add remaining ingredients. Cover; cook 1 hour more or until tender. Stir now and then. Uncover; cook until desired consistency. Garnish with chopped parsley. 6 servings.
